Restricted to Photograph

This past Tuesday the WMU College Republican brought John Ashcroft to speak on campus. I went for the paper to take photos, but when I arrived there where signs up prohibiting cameras in the auditorium. Not only that when you where in the auditorium the walls where lined with security, it was an eerie feeling to say the least.

It would have been nice for the paper to run shot of the filled auditorium or of Ashcroft on location, but instead they where limited to run a stock head shot. I guess this all makes sense Ashcroft wants to control his image, so what better way then to provide what that image will be.

Nearly Spring Break

I have one more class and one more test before I can officially call it spring break. I have been anxiously tapping my toes ready for a break. I’m going to spend my time at home working a little, catching up on some school work and some extracurricular stuff.

Over the first weekend I am home one of my cousins from Florida is coming into town. That should be pretty cool because I have not seen him in a few years. Also, my brother and sister are having a little party, in honor of Sharee’s graduation and as a house warming party for Brent.
